1. Helping Others

Once there was a small boy named shankar. He belonged to a poor family. One day, he was crossing through the forest carrying some wood. He saw an of man who was very hungry. Shankar wanted to give him some food. But, he did not have food of his own. So, he continued on his way. On his way, he saw a deer who was very thirsty. He wanted to give him some water, but he did not have water for himself.  So he went on his road way.

Then he saw a man who wanted to make a camp but he did not have woods. Shankar asked his problem, and gave some woods to him. In return, he gave him some food and water. Now he went back to the old man and gave him some food and some water to the deer. The old man and the deer very happy. Shankar then happily on his way.

However, one day shankar fell down the hill. He was in pain but he could not move and no one was there to help him. But, the old man who he helped before saw him, he quickly came and pulled him up the hill. He had many wound on his legs. The deer whom shankar had given water saw his wound and quickly went to the forest and brought some herbs. After sometime his wounds were covered. All were very happy that they were able to help each other.

Moral : if you help other, then they will also help you.

2. We get back what give to Others

There was a farmer who sold a pounds of butter to the baker. One day, the baker decided to weigh the butter to see if he was getting a pound and he found that he was not. This angered him, and he took the farmer to court.

The judge asked the farmer if he was using any measure. The farmer replied, " Honor, I am primitive. I don't have a proper measure. But I do have a scale."

The judge asked, " then how do you weigh the butter?"

The farmer replied, " your honor, long before the baker started buying butter from me, I have been buying pound loaf of bread from him. Everyday when the baker brings the bread, I put it on the scale and gave him the same weight in butter. If anyone is to be blamed, " it is the baker."

What is the moral of the story on honesty - We get back in life, what we give to others. Whenever you take an action, Ask yourself this question am I giving fair value for the wages or money I hope to make.
Honesty and dishonesty become a habit. Some people practice dishonesty and can lie with a straight face. Other lie so much that they don't even know what the truth is anymore. But who are they deceiving? Themselves - more than anyone else.
Honesty can be put across gently. Some people take pride in being brutally honest. It seems they are getting a bigger kick out of brutally then the honesty. Choices of words and tact are important.

This guy was a top official and he had come down from the US for a meeting with Mukesh Ambani. So, I asked him about his experience of dealing with the   elder Ambani brother. This is what he said: “Mukesh bhai is a wonderful person. But when he is seating at the negotiation table, very few can match his business acumen and homework. In fact, after the deal was over and we shook hands, I had to check if my hand was still with me. He's that sharp!” The above description of Mukesh Ambani is definitely a key reason why he is more successful than Anil Ambani! Above: The focus was always different! The death of their father Dhirubhai in 2002 sparked a battle for control which ultimately lead to the split of the Reliance Group. Their mother brokered a demerger in 2005, which gave Mukesh control of oil and gas, petrochemicals, refining and manuf...
