Feel good Inspirational stories

1. Box full of kisses

Sometime ago, a man punished his 3 year old daughter for wasting a roll of gold wrapping paper. Money was tight and became infuriated when the  child tried to decorate a box to put under the Christmas tree.

Nevertheless, the little girl brought the gift to her father the next morning and said, " this is for you  daddy".

The man became embarrassed by his overreaction earlier, but his rage continue, when he saw that the box was empty. He yelled at her ; " Don't you know, when you give someone a present, this is supposed to be inside?"

The little girl looked up at him with tears in her eyes and cried ;

"OH, DADDY IS NOT EMPTY AT ALL. I BLEW KISSES INTO THE BOX. THEY ARE ALL FOR YOU, DADDY?"

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little girl, and he begged for her forgiveness.

Only a short time later, an accident took the life of the child. Her father kept the gold box by his bed for many years and, whenever he was discouraged, he would take out an imaginary kiss and remember the love of the child who had put it there.

Moral of the story: love is the most precious gift in the world.

2. Take control of my Life

How to take control of my life? Perhaps a parable will help you see my point.

High on the hilltop overlooking the beautiful city of Venice, Italy, there lived an old man who was a genius. Legend had it he could answer any question anyone might ask of him. Two of the local boys figured they could fool the old man, so they caught a small bird and headed for his residence.

One of the boys held the little bird in his hand and asked the gold man if the bird was dead or alive.

Without hesitation the old man said, " son, If I say to you that the bird is alive, you will close your hand and crush him to your death. If I say the bird is dead, you will open your hands and he will fly away.
You see, son, in your hands you hold the power of life and death".

In your hands you hold the seeds of failure or the potential for greatness. Your hands are capable but they must be used and for the right things to reap the rewards You are capable of attaining.

Why is Mukesh Ambani more successful than Anil Ambani?

Many years ago, I interviewed someone from a company called John Crane, which supplies equipment to the oil and gas sector. This guy was a top official and he had come down from the US for a meeting with Mukesh Ambani. So, I asked him about his experience of dealing with the   elder Ambani brother. This is what he said: “Mukesh bhai is a wonderful person. But when he is seating at the negotiation table, very few can match his business acumen and homework. In fact, after the deal was over and we shook hands, I had to check if my hand was still with me. He's that sharp!” The above description of Mukesh Ambani is definitely a key reason why he is more successful than Anil Ambani! Above: The focus was always different! The death of their father Dhirubhai in 2002 sparked a battle for control which ultimately lead to the split of the Reliance Group.
