Uplifting Inspirational stories

1. How Poor are We
One day a father and his rich family took their son to a trip to the country with the firm purpose to show him how poor people can be. They spent a day and a night in the farm of a very poor family. When they got back from their trip the father asked his son, " how was the trip?"

"Very good dad!" Replied his son.

" Did you see how poor people can be?"           The father asked.

          "Yeah."

          "And what did you learn".

The son answered, " I saw that we have dog at home, and they have four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of the garden; they have a creek that has no end. We have important lamp in the garden ; they have the stars. Our patio reaches  to the front yard, they have a whole horizon.

When the little boy was finishing, his father was speechless. His son added, " thanks dad for showing me how poor we are!"

Our outlook on life depends on the way we look at things. The most important things in life are your friends, family, health, good humor and a positive attitude towards life. If you have these then you have everything!"

Why is Mukesh Ambani more successful than Anil Ambani?

Many years ago, I interviewed someone from a company called John Crane, which supplies equipment to the oil and gas sector. This guy was a top official and he had come down from the US for a meeting with Mukesh Ambani. So, I asked him about his experience of dealing with the   elder Ambani brother. This is what he said: “Mukesh bhai is a wonderful person. But when he is seating at the negotiation table, very few can match his business acumen and homework. In fact, after the deal was over and we shook hands, I had to check if my hand was still with me. He's that sharp!” The above description of Mukesh Ambani is definitely a key reason why he is more successful than Anil Ambani! Above: The focus was always different! The death of their father Dhirubhai in 2002 sparked a battle for control which ultimately lead to the split of the Reliance Group. Their mother brokered a demerger in 2005, which gave Mukesh control of oil and gas, petrochemicals, refining and manuf...

What are the best tricks to keep yourself motivated?

Jeff bezos was asked how he became so   passionate . Most expected a reply long and sour, but he kept it short and sweet: “ You don’t choose your passions . Your passions CHOOSE YOU.” THE MOTIVATION HACK I. YOUR DREAM is CALLING YOU . . . PICK UP! Before he starred in the role as rapper "Jay-Z," became a   billionaire   and married BeyoncĂ© ,   Shawn Carter   was just one of the guys in the hood. In Brooklyn, Carter was the gangly dude seen around town "walking down the street eating a $1 slice of pizza." Carter—a high school dropout—found himself in the unwanted position of street pharmacist. It was in the midst of petty drug-dealing, however, that Carter’s   dream came calling. In an interview with   Oprah , Carter recalled: I use to stand outside the bodega, and my mind would be overflowed with these poems . . . ya know. It got to a point where I’d have to rush inside the store to borrow a pen and brown paper bag t...
